Recovery Homes

A faith based recovery home for women who struggle with drug and alcohol addiction

Jeremiah 29:11 God has a plan...

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’
Matthew 25:34-36 (NLT)

About Us

Established in February of 2017, House of Grace Recovery Homes is a faith-based 501(c)(3) ministry offering women who are struggling with drug and alcohol addiction the opportunity to overcome their life challenges in a one-year program.

  • We aim to give women a fresh start in life by helping them change their way of thinking and developing a healthy lifestyle
  • We offer a safe, supportive and structured environment that empowers these women to rebuild and restore their lives through a relationship with Jesus
  • We also provide life skills classes, employment opportunities and mentoring programs for women to heal from their past and learn a better way moving forward
  • Most importantly, we teach women that the only way to truly change is by placing God at the center of their life. Through Jesus, we can do all things!

“We believe it is through the grace our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”
Acts 15:11 (NIV)

MEET THE DIRECTOR

Former Jail Chaplain, Tammy Tidd, has been a mentor to women struggling with addiction for over ten years. She has a heart of gold and is truly dedicated to giving each woman that comes through the program the proper tools to overcome their addiction and live a productive life following recovery. Above all, Tammy is committed to sharing the love of Christ with others and helping them grow spiritually.

Daily Life

Monday-Friday are dedicated to completing required classes. These classes include Bible Studies, Heart of Addiction, Life Healing Choices, Battlefield of the Mind, Anger Management, Relapse Prevention, Grief, Parenting, Discipleship, Healthy Relationships, and more.

On Saturdays we relax and have visits. If needed, we work on the yard and tend to the animals and garden prior to visits. We also have visits on Sundays in between morning and evening church services.

Whenever we get the opportunity, we fellowship with other churches and go to concerts, parks, movies, and other events. On occasion we also share about the House at different churches and events. The women from the House share their stories and pass out pamphlets in hope that other struggling women will also get the help they need.
